The training aims at acquiring theoretical tools and practical behaviors necessary for the resolution of unhealthy situations.

The objectives assigned to this training session are:

Implement training that allows trainees to be able to:

Analyze monitoring data
Detect changes in disease trends
Identify suspicions of epidemics
Describe events in terms of time, place and person
Develop preliminary hypotheses
Perform simple analytical studies to test hypotheses
Carry out the different phases of a public health survey in the field
Use the simple functions of some computer tools (Epi-info, Excel, Powerpoint)
Communicating results to decision makers
