1-In February 2016, a first edition of the Health Surveillance and Field Epidemiology (SanET) training was implemented in February 2016 by a teaching team composed, for the Senegalese part, by health professionals working in the field of health. field of epidemiology, for the French part, by epidemiologists of Epiter, and, for the Belgian part, by the coordinator of the course and president of Sante Sunugal.
SanET was conducted under the aegis of the Ministry of Health and Social Action (MSAS) of Senegal with the financial support of the National Council for the Fight against AIDS (CNLS), the Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC), the Center of Sanitary Emergency Operations (COUS) of Senegal, the Senegalese Sugar Company (CSS) and the European Union Guinea section. The 3-week training consisted of lectures coupled with case studies as well as conducting a field survey.
2-In August 2016, Sante Sunugal donated medical equipment to Linguère Town Hall. This donation was made possible by the Tourcoing hospital and Iris Sud hospitals in Brussels
